Denis Leary plays The Amazing Spider-Man's Captain Stacy, who has to tangle with both Peter Parker and his alter ego. Playing the protective father of Gwen (Emma Stone), Leary talked about drawing on his own experiences with his daughter's boyfriends when we sat down with him at a recent press day for the film. He also admitted that he wasn't expecting to be blown away by Andrew Garfield's and Emma Stone's skills but noted that they're both really great actors and more than just "shooting stars."
