Angelina Jolie traveled to Baghdad yesterday to continue her advocacy work with the UN on behalf of Syrian refugees. Her travels have already taken her to Jordan, where she visited a refugee camp, Lebanon, and Turkey. Angelina, a special envoy for the UN's refugee agency, has met with many political leaders so far, and in Iraq, she had a discussion with Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari at his office. Today, she was in Erbil, North of Baghdad, for more meetings with leaders of the country's semi-autonomous Kurdistan. In both cities, Angelina encouraged Iraq to host Syrian refugees fleeing violence in their home country and to keep an eye out especially for ways to help children.
