Prince William and his wife Kate wrapped up their second day in Singapore with an official reception this evening. They attended the British Gala reception at Singapore's Eden Hall, and even signed their names inside a guest book. The party came after a whirlwind afternoon that included visits to a Rolls Royce engine factory, the Gardens by the Bay park, and the Rainbow Center for children.
William and Kate's visit was designed to promote the relationship between Singapore and the UK in honor of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, but talk hasn't been all about politics and business. When asked about his hopes for a family, William said he wants two kids with his wife!
After donning a suit from Alexander McQueen and a Raoul dress earlier in the day, Kate changed into a printed white Erdem frock for her evening engagement. She and William seemed to be in a festive mood, and were snapped toasting with two glasses of water. It was a sign of solidarity from William to Kate, sparked a new round of pregnancy rumors when she drank water at a reception yesterday as well. William, however, treated himself to a glass of red wine during their first evening mingling with Singapore dignitaries.
