TIFF On the Scene: Kristen Stewart's On the Road Red Carpet Return!

Kristen Stewart stepped out for On the Road at TIFF last night, which was her first red carpet appearance since July. She looked stunning in a partially-sheer floral sequined Zuhair Murad dress and was greeted by throngs of fans who came out to show their love for the star. Armed with handmade signs and ready to cheer, Kristen's supporters were very vocal about standing by the actress and she made sure to show how much she appreciated it. Kristen stayed on the red carpet almost an hour longer than it was scheduled to end, making sure to sign as many autographs, pose for as many pictures, and flash as many smiles as possible to show she's doing just fine. Kristen took on many of her interviews alongside costar Garrett Hedlund, and the two gushed about each other and what it meant to make this iconic book into a film.

We also chatted with another of On the Road's leading ladies, Kirsten Dunst, who was gorgeous in Dior. She had her own cheering section, quite literally, since a group of fans broke into the famous "Hey Mickey" segment from Bring It On. Kirsten and Garrett, who are real-life loves after meeting on set, mostly did their own thing on the carpet, but the trio were all together for a dinner after the premiere. One person missing was Tom Sturridge, who is back home in London with Sienna Miller and their newborn baby, Marlow. Kristen did gush about him a bit on the carpet, however, talking about how they were nervous together before starting to shoot the movie.

Right on character, Kristen changed from her sky high stilettos into high top tennis shoes when it was time to call it a night. Check back for all our TIFF updates and movie reviews straight from the action!
